Yep,,,am a 57 year old who grew up with rock and roll,,,,and was 16 in 1966 when "Elusive Butterfly" came out,,,,my buddies and i all bought the single, loved the lyrics---
i especially liked the idea of telling her she might wake up to the sound of someone moving past her window----the idea of the infatuation, and i had several back in grade school and high school,--unfortunately was never secure enough back them to let the girls know my feelings..
this song brings me back there every time i hear it....
