coffee gallery show

Post by RHanson »

The Coffee Gallery is tucked behind a coffee shop ..hence the name..I hadnt seen Bob since 68...This was a great show..From Cheryls going home to "the conversation ?" to a very pretty Sophias lullaby , "Wearing you" was a great new song and of couse Butterfly ...had the meet and greet after ..he signed my Butterfly LP....ps the Luna CD is Great , the slow Mr Zero or" Looking for
you" are stand outs....My Daughter and I will ..look forward to seeing him again ...a great show..a nice guy

That "I'm Wearing You" is a fine song, yes.

So there wasn't any East Coat/West Coast trouble at the show?

Bob's like a lightning rod for all that crazy chaotic stuff. Freestyle rhyme battles in the middle of sets, all of that.

Lind has asked me to post the following review:
http://crimefilenews.blogspot.com/2007/ ... ht-in.html

Despite the crime-oriented nature of that blog (it's by a Libertarian P.I./cop), there's no mention of Biggie Smalls, Tupac or the Crips/Bloods, East Coast/West Coast acoustic rock rivalries.

Just a writeup about the Coffee Gallery show....

Right on, Grant!

Remember the UFC vs. WWE brawl during Bob's second set at the Luna Star gig last July?

Loved it!

Luckily, The Rock lives nearby in Davie and, well, has a thing for enforcing public peace now that he's a respectable actor....

Anyway, was anyone else at the latest coffee gallery show? How'd it go?

Trying to get the review out about his San Francisco gig

Post by Rick »

If I get time in the next couple of days, I'll finish the "review", such as it will be, of Bob's show this past Friday night in San Francisco at The Knock Out Room -- Great show -- got my vinyl album cover of "Circles" signed by Bob - standing on the sidewalk out front, waiting to go on --

More later --
