Required Listening During the Holidays

To all message board members new to the board this year:

On the Play List page, there is a wonderful song Bob wrote and performed for all of us last year around Christmas: A New Year's Carol.

Totally acoustic, Bob's voice amazingly clear and emotional, the song expresses feelings that many of us experience at this time of year, but have found difficult to verbalize in such an extraordinary way.

Please, let yourselves experience this beautiful and moving musical gift from Bob!

"Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me."

Thanks Bob... may all your days be merry and bright!

Thanks for this reminder, Jeff -- not to mention the kind words. I had completely forgotten the tune was still up there.
I mean it just as much this year as I did last year. So consider it a recycled card for all you members of this forum and your families.

Ah, 'tis the season to enjoy once more Bob's tribute to what we can make of the holidays.

Thanks again, Bob, for A New Year's Carol (on the Playlist page).

To those who've not yet heard this wonderful song, you are so fortunate to be about to experience it for the first time!

Just can't get enough of this one during January "resolution time."

On this website's Playlist page... A NEW YEAR'S CAROL... sure to become a Lindispensible part of Bob's music.

Please check this out, especially if you're new to the board in 2008 or 2009.

It's that time of year again!

Everyone, please listen to Bob's wonderful 'A New Year's Carol'
on the Playlist page. Here's hoping a Bob Lind Holiday cd is coming!

Happy New Year, Bob!

(Why is it that while listening to your song again this year, I thought of the opening line of another of my holiday favorites ...lug nuts roasting on an open fire... ?!)

Yep Jeff...new computer, so imported all my Linds, whacked 'er into shuffle mode and sat back yesterday, watching the cricket (audio silent on TV) and immersed myself into a sea of Lindulgence...and yep, the Carol came on and I sang along...

It's a great life...

Bob,

Time to request/require everyone, especially folks new to the message board in 2010, to listen to and think about the sentiments expressed in A New Year's Carol on the Playlist page.

Seldom has there been such a thought-provoking and deeply moving song-poem, written especially for the holiday season.

Thanks again, Bob, for all the starlight gypsy nights you've given us over the years. Love ya, man!

As another "black Friday" engulfs the nations, PLEASE listen to A New Years Carol on the playlist page.
One of Bob's best, and a really needed examination of the "holiday spirit."

The Playlist page changes are good, and some of Bob's new songs of the last couple years would be a great holiday gift to all of us.

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mr. Lind...you're one of the youngest old guys I know!

Bob,

How do you expect me to remember you had a birthday on November 25 when you sound so young on your album??!!

Sorry, man... Happy Birthday!

This time of year, most people really enjoy listening to your classic "A New Year's Carol" on the Music page, at the end of the Bonus Demos.

Enjoy the holidays!

Thanks Jeff. Yes it's getting to be that time of year isn't it?
And thanks for the kind woids about FINDING YOU AGAIN.
And believe me, no problem about forgetting my B'Day. Who wants to dwell on the traumatic experience of being yanked away from 69.
NOBODY -- no one at any age.
