I recently discovered this lady, thanks to a local community radio station.
There is not a lot of information about her on the Internet, but there is a fairly recent interview on Youtube. She is now 70. Back in 1970 she recorded an album, "Parallelograms", which never got much notice at the time but seems to have earned the moniker of a "psych-folk classic". You might say she sank back into obscurity, but this was mainly by choice; she had no desire to follow the path of stardom, and continued to pursue her career in dental hygiene.
Part of the problem with Parallelograms apparently was the poor quality of the original vinyl mastering - too much compression. Over 40 years later the album was remastered from the original tapes, and this year she has a new album out - "The Soul of All Natural Things".(40-plus years between album releases - does that sound familiar?) I have heard a couple of songs from this, and I think I am smitten.
Try this one for size:

She is around Bob's vintage, so I wonder if their paths ever crossed?
Anyway I have ordered both albums.
