Upcoming honours to Bob and Judy Collins at Denver - I hope they get to perform together... to the best of my knowledge, the only songs they have both sung are "The Times They Are A'Changin'" and "Wandering (Golden Apples Of The Sun" ?
Also hope there's footage...
Well deserved to both...

Also Hey Nellie Nellie and Fennario. I've been a Judy Collins fan even longer than I've been a Lind fan. I wish I could see them both together. Yes, I hope there's video of this special occasion.

Re: Honours to Bob and Judy Collins.
What's the "honour" they are receiving?
Judy Collins is a great performer, and very underrated as a songwriter. The trouble is, she is so good at covering, and in some cases improving, other people's songs, that her own compositions tend to get overlooked.

I believe they are being inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame on November 8.
Congratulations, Sir Robert of Denver!

Lind was just interviewed on Colorado Public Radio about the Hall of Fame induction.

Re: Honours to Bob and Judy Collins.
Some interesting background info there - and I note that Bob shares my assessment of Aretha's version of "Butterfly".
Re: Honours to Bob and Judy Collins.
Might I inject that I find it comforting to hear, almost verbatim, how Bob's views on coffee house folk music of the time mimics those of Tom Rush.
I don't know if NH has a HOF, but surely Tom would be (or is?) enshrined therein. As Bob is deserved of this honor.
May I offer my congratulations?

Thanks, all of you.
It was a fabulous night. There should be video in a few weeks. Watch for it on my FaceBook Page or here.
