Hello, Bob Lind message board members!
After lots of sweating and typing-of-emails, I have an announcement.
The board is back as close to how it was as it's going to be, only safer. I've done some reformatting, upgrading and stuck some newer security features under the hood. It's better protected than it was.
However, I can't retrieve the posts lost in the recent unpleasantness. If I hadn't been going to China, and if I'd known more about database backups beforehand, things would've been different. But they weren't. Alas.
So! If you happened to have saved any old discussions, post 'em back up here. If you've got anything new to talk about, let's start some new discussions! CD reviews? Lind sightings? Misheard lyrics? Legends and rumors of the 1960s West Coast acoustic rock scene? Or, uh, sympathy notes for traumatized message board administrators?
Post them here. Let me know what you're thinking.
Thanks,
grant

Thank you for all that you do and have done in the past. Even though the old posts were full of so much knowledge, we can start over again and be even more creative than before.
Thank you again, Grant.

Y'all (and the many folks who emailed me) are far too swell. Thanks.
The baby's name is Sebastian.
He has a few other names, too.
And, uh, people around the house are already calling him "spaz." Oh, the joys of youth!

Oh good grief. (!)
(By the way, have you ever heard their cover of, of all songs, The Boys Are Back In Town? The lead singer has this thing where he makes a point of learning a song by a band from whatever city their tour takes them to, and, well, chose that one for Belfast or Boston or wherever that band was from. Strange hearing him be all macho on the mike.)

B & S repertoire
Given that "Boys" was by Thin Lizzie, who I believe were an Irish band, it would have to have been Belfast rather than Boston.
A song for each city? Either their touring is rather limited, or else they must have a large repertoire by now!
