The Hanbury is the sort of club you expect to find Bertie Wooster in, propped up at the bar with a cocktail and perusing the world through a monocle. Very Art Nouveau. Basically black interior with mirrors alo...

Not sure if this has been posted before but just found Cher's version of 'Come to your window" on You Tube. I'd not heard this song before.

Re: Pulp - Bob Lind (The Only Way Is Down)

Thank you Bob numbers. I've been wondering what that song sounded like for a long time and my searches on the net have been in vain. I recently tracked down the Nancy Sinatra version of 'Long Time Woman' on Spotify, which I like but prefer Bob's more folky version. Still searching for Richie Havens ...

What about the new stuff.

What if you leave me
These bolts will hold this chair in place
This soft and silky pillow case
Will yield the imprint of your face
Eventually

Sublime. Had not realised all the lyrics for latest downloads were available on site. Thanks Bob.

The whole of the album Photographs of Feeling is of course included in the Ace release ' The complete Jack Nitzsche Sessions ' released last year plus a couple of bonus tracks. Well worth the investment. 25 tracks in total.
