Re: Cool Summer

'Wandering' is actually a poem by W.B.Yeats titled 'The Song of the Wandering Aengus'.
The full poem can be found on this website ....http://www.bartleby.com/146/9.html

Apart from the Bob Lind compositions on the 'album that cannot be mentioned' Wandering is also one of my favorites.

Thanks for that Susanne. Beautifully written. Bob does seem to have the ability to hit those times in the past with meaningful words that you can immediately relate to a specific period in your life.

Re: Bob at the Coffee Gallery Backstage 1/18

I heard Bob perform ' Taking the. Gamble tonight ' when he was in Brighton and had assumed it was a new song. Therefore hoping that Bob might make it available on a download. As it's an oldie that is unlikely I guess. Great shame as only a few will ever hear it this great song. Susanne, how about th...

Bob on Tim Rice's American Pie BBC show

Bob got a really good mention on Tim Rice's American Pie show on BBC Radio 2. On the late evening show on Thursday 20th January he played Elusive Butterfly. He also knew all about Bob's website and the fact that he had been touring and recording. Tim concludes by saying " go check him out "...

Re: The Documentary Is Out!

Just received the DVD and it certainly ticks all the boxes for me. Great music and interesting interviews. Well done to all concerned. Only downside for me is that here in the UK the DVD is not compatible with our DVD players attached to TV's. So I can only play it on the computer which does not hav...

Re: Hawley on Lind

Thanks Grant.
It's great to hear Richard Hawley commenting on the influence that Bob Lind had on his music. I heard him interviewed on a late night radio show about a year ago.He was asked what music he was listening to in the car. His reply was ' Don't be concerned ' album.
