On the Photographs Of Feeling vinyl album it's spelled Elinor.

Re: Bob Covers

Hi Jim, Yeah. I did indeed send you a personal message thanking you for posting "We May Have Touched." As I said, it's not on any of the reissues and it was good to hear it again. I think it was Tommy Oliver who produced that one. No? The tempo is a little fast and I'm not crazy about tha...

Re: New Demos: 2008 Songs

Great stuff, thanks Bob!

I'm especially partial to Let It Go and Maybe It's The Rain. The tension in the 'guitar and vocals only' songs always gets me. Pure magic.

The Outsider's Dream is DEEP!

Sounds Like Goodbye is another fave.

That is one of my absolute faves from Bob's early period. LOVE LOVE LOVE those lyrics.

Re: Re:

- Cher's is not bad, though I thought the tempo a little too fast, it sounds as though she was hurrying to finish in a limited number of minutes and seconds; Just a little factoid that no-one wll even care about (I'm good at those)......all of Cher's records in the 60s were sped up. You have to slo...

Re: LIND COVERS

Hey Bob Numbers, always good hearing from you. That info's not quite right. Sonny's solo album INNVER VIEWS was released in 1967. But "Cheryl's Goin Home" isn't on it. The album you're thinking of is THE TWO OF US which is by Sonny AND Cher. I'm in good company on that album. It also cont...

I just found this very nice video by a couple of Swedish girls. Yeah, this being the internet, I know how that sounds, but really - give it a listen. They've got great voices. And here's the original version by Fleet Foxes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vu_3RS2rO78 Great new band. I have their EP ...

"Theme From The Music Box" and "Anymore", in particular are so damn GOOD! A resolute echidna wobbled across the road up ahead - I wondered if he had his iPod ear-buds in, singing along to "I used to be a sparrow, but I fell.." Anymore is one of my all-time faves of Bob...

Do you mean the Glen album where he does covers of groups/artist of now? I got it and found it much better than Neil Diamonds last. Yes, Glen's brand new one, Meet Glen Campbell. I wish it were a little less commercial/radio-ready sounding, but that's just me. Solid album! Hope he does do another p...

Capitol Records wishful thinking

Brian Wilson and Glen Campbell both recently re-signed with Capitol, and have brand new albums out. I bought Glen's this week and it's quite solid.....for what Glen does anyway. He truly sounds as good as he did in the 60s.....as our Bob does. I think Bob should be next to re-sign with Capitol! Upon...
