Very interesting and informative Rob. The more info we can get our hands on the better. I was impressed by the quality of Gerry's write up. Hope he reviews the CD when it comes out in October.

This is fantastic. If the previously unreleased songs equal the caliber of the other songs on Circles, we have some great music to look forward to. Since they were recorded during the same time period as the album, there is good reason to be believe they will be. This is a very exciting development!

My wife and I have been married 30 years today. For this special anniversary, my wife gave me a card with a picture of (what else?) a butterfly on it. She knows I love butterflys and she knows why. If any song is our song, "Elusive Butterfly" is. I played it for her the night we fell in lo...

Hey Michael. I have devoted some serious thought to the advisability of my little suggestion, and have decided you may not want to obtain "Since There Were Circles" in the way I mentioned...

Welcome to our "Lind Community" Michael. I want to strongly recommend you obtain Bob's, "Since There Were Circles" cd. It came after his "Photographs of Feelings" LP and was released, I think, in '71. Fantastic album, and by far the best of his 3 albums released from '6...

I should not have said "favorite" bubblegum songs. That's humiliating. Any songs of that genre that particularly strikes anyone's funnybone? (Genre?)

Bob_32_116--You forgot to mention the timeless melodies and intricate lyrics of works by The Lemon Pipers, and (of course) The Archies. Amazing how "Sugar, Sugar" mesmorized America, even though the song was written in a mere 5 minutes and recorded by a "group" which didn't exist...

I completely agree with Rob and DaleAnne. Let's stay focused on the common interest which drew us together. I was delighted when I discovered Bob's website, and still am. I wrote that apology and explanation to mend fences, not to escalate tensions. I hate to think what the response would have been ...

I knew some people would find my comments about Lind vs. Dylan curious, if not obtuse and irritating. Sweeping statements like the ones I made will always raise eyebrows, especially if they are unelaborated, like mine were. They can reek of intellectual laziness, an unawareness of and indifference t...

Bob_32_116--Bob Lind is a better lyricist than Bob Dylan (all these "Bobs" are confusing!) That statement probably sounds sacrilegious to some people, but I'm serious. Bob L. is a better poet than Bob D., and his art has improved over the years. I'm certainly not denigrating Mr. Dylan in a...

Yes, I took 48 pictures; unfortunately, 24 of them were ruined thanks to my son's dyslexic girlfriend (but she is a delightful person anyway). So I have 24 pics of his 2nd performance, and I'll post the best ones. Will also write a description of his shows. Got to know Bob a little better personally...

I got Jamie's "Lind Me Four" about a week ago, and am delighted with it. Everyone who loves Bob's music needs to purchase this CD. Jamie's versions of Bob's songs are lovely, lively, and his affection for the material can be heard in every note and word. His rendition of "Counting&quo...
