Re: Required Listening During the Holidays

Thanks Jeff. Yes it's getting to be that time of year isn't it?
And thanks for the kind woids about FINDING YOU AGAIN.
And believe me, no problem about forgetting my B'Day. Who wants to dwell on the traumatic experience of being yanked away from 69.
NOBODY -- no one at any age.

Re: The new Lind album

Some of you may not be aware that the multi-talented (and easily exploited and underpaid) grant, did the overdub engineering for many of the songs on the CD. He did a terrific job for us, under some difficult conditions.

Re: The new Lind album

Hey John, I was just going to write inquiring about your health today. Thanks. You saved me the trouble. Sounds like you're bouncing back nicely. As to the rest of you -- you Yanks -- I know it's shabby. The truth is that they just didn't anticipate the number of preorders (AMAZON not ACE, none of t...

Re: The new Lind album

Thanks for the heads up Rob. I don't get it. But you're right. I looked and Amazon U.K. DOES now list the release date as the first. Stand by. We've heard nothing about a change of date but Jill will look into this and post here wiht the news.

Re: We May Have Touched - who plays the flute?

I think it's way, way over the top. I can't remember who the guy was (lost to too much marijuana in those days, and time). But someone should have reined him in.

Re: "San Francisco Man"

Right Bob. Everything on it is available elsewhere -- ethically AND unethically. But it boils my blood. It's not only that I don't see a dime from it. That wouldn't be a new, unendurable thing. Every artist in the bidnus gets ripped off if he stays in the game awhile. The galling thing is seeing fan...

Re: The new Lind album

Oh and for the people who are disappointed that "BofW" didn't make it onto the album, here's me doing it at McCabe's during the last tour.
The sound is not great, but I think the feeling comes through.

Re: The new Lind album

You turkeys are so-oo cute. Okay, in light of the obvious heartfelt interest here -- and the fact that the track listing has already been leaked elsewhere (sometimes accurately, sometimes totally fantastically), here for the first time anywhere, directly from me, are the songs in order on FINDING Y0...

Re: New Live Performances on the Music Page

Thanks Jeff. Good to read this. "Bottle of Wine" isn't on the new CD, There is, however, one non-Lind composition. Hang on, the album will be out on Sept. 24 -- which just happens to be my mother's birthday. She would have been 93.
"Someone to Adore" DID make the cut btw.

Hey Susanne, Yes. the book is a few years old now. Henry's pix are wonderful as usual. And in a nice coincidence, Henry took some other pix of me at McCabes on this last tour (May-June) -- also by the guitar wall. I don't understand how to post pictures here on this Message Board but maybe grant's a...

Re: The new Lind album

Thanks for the interest guys. Yes. The whole CD is done -- 13 songs including a first for me: A song I DIDN'T write. I don't want to say too much about it yet except to say the producer is Jamie Hoover, founding member of The Spongetones and lead guitar player on my BOB LIND: Perspective. dvd. And B...

Re: "English Afternoon" lyrics

Hey Bob Numbers, You are the best. The lyrics are pretty much perfect. The only tiny nit to pick is, "bright panoramas OF moments with you." (as opposed to "AND moments with you.") But it's so enterprising and considerate of you to post these words -- all of them. Thanks for cari...
