Ah -- I just changed this forum from "registered members only" to "anyone can post here."

That should make things better.

Do you have log-in problems?

I've had them, it seems like everyone's had them. I think I've fixed them for now by changing a few cookie settings behind the scenes. You may have to log in again to officially be recognized by the message board. BUT -- if you try to log in and aren't recognized right away, or have anything weird w...

A CD -- hmm. That sounds interesting.

I think Bob hates the Verve thing, but I've always been a little curious.

Oh good grief. (!) (By the way, have you ever heard their cover of, of all songs, The Boys Are Back In Town? The lead singer has this thing where he makes a point of learning a song by a band from whatever city their tour takes them to, and, well, chose that one for Belfast or Boston or wherever tha...

Y'all (and the many folks who emailed me) are far too swell. Thanks.

The baby's name is Sebastian.

He has a few other names, too.

And, uh, people around the house are already calling him "spaz." Oh, the joys of youth!

The Board is Back (more or less).

Hello, Bob Lind message board members! After lots of sweating and typing-of-emails, I have an announcement. The board is back as close to how it was as it's going to be, only safer. I've done some reformatting, upgrading and stuck some newer security features under the hood. It's better protected th...

Florida Folk Festival

Over Memorial Day Weekend, Mr. Lind will be trucking up to White Springs, Florida, just north of Gainesville, to play at the Florida Folk Festival . He's got three official show times, but I understand there was a bit of unofficial jamming and other musical fun last year. Friday, May 26, at 12:30 in...

Update your bookmarks!

OK, if you have keen eyes, you might have noticed that the address for the board is no longer http://www.boblind.com/phpbb2, but is instead http://www.boblind.com/board. If you get here via a bookmark, you might want to update it. Hopefully, this move will help discourage some of the spambots and, e...

a rescue mission

So, we're back from China. More on that here . http://www.adoptionblogs.com/media/China%20Adoption/actionbed.jpg I'm also working on recovering the old message board posts -- one way or another I can get them back, it's just whether or not I can get them back as posts or as one mondo big text file. ...
