Re: If Bob .....

Sorry for my long neglect of this board. I truly appreciate you loyal fans holding the cyber fort down for me. And Mondrian you have sure done some serious posting while my back was turned. Nice to have you with us. I have been turning all my attention to FaceBook and mostly forget about this board....

Re: Happy Birthday Mr. Lind!

Thanks Jeff. I almost never check the message board anymore. Seems it's all FaceBook now. I appreciate your thinking of me.

Re: Here I Go Again...

Hey Danny thanks for your continued and persistent interest. Yes. My name is Lind. But as for the rest of it, depends on the day. The short answer is at the moment, there are no plans for Ireland per se. But we ARE planning the release of a new CD in early 2015 and a tour of the U.K. and Spain later...

Re: Elusive Butterfly et al.

Just saw this post. Yeah Roger. It was Hullabaloo. Not an annoying question at all and to my knowledge no one's addressed it. There is a double vocal on that clip and it sounds awful. I hated those lipsync shows but didn't know I could refuse to do them. I'm singing AND the vocal track on the record...

Re: Elusive Butterfly et al.

Yes. Lind2 is me. I was speaking relatively. Just surprised to see it on YouTube. I don't think I said "never heard it." If so, it was one of those rush-rush typos. I think I said hadn't heard it in years (this recent posting notwithstanding). At least that's what I meant to say. Good that...

Re: Bob Lind info on LyricWiki

Bob Numbers you are absolute aces! Taking the time to do this and caring enough to make sure you got it right! Wow. I will check through the lyrics you posted when I get a chance, but I didn't want to delay a moment in thanking you for your obvious care and passion for my music. I'm so fortunate to ...

Re: Elusive Butterfly et al.

Jack was a lot of things. "Idiot" isn't one of them. I tend to agree with Bob Numbers on this issue. Jack was right; I was wrong. But funny this issue should emerge now. Just a week or two ago, someone sent me this -- a newly discovered audio recording of me at the Hollywood Bowl. To my kn...

Re: The Sixties

Hi Bill, The shirt has probably gone the way of love beads and roach clips along with any illusion that those were the good old days. Glad you enjoy the promo (yes, I've seen it). But none of us -- Petula, Zombies, Spoonful, Turtles... -- are getting a dime in residuals. So what has changed really? ...

Re: RICHARD HAWLEY

Thanks Sean. Always great to hear good news about Richard. Yes, the man casts a spell doesn't he? He deserves every iota of the recognition he's enjoying. He went, way way out of his safety zone with STANDING AT THE SKY'S EDGE -- departing from the style and form that brought him fame. It takes real...

Re: Pulp - We Love Life Deluxe

Hey Fred the Third and Bob Numbers, Indeed. "Good terms" is an understatement. He and his long-time friend Richard Hawley are two of the most generous, gracious and ego-less guys on earth. They've both done so much for me, never missing an opportunity to give me better visibility in Englan...
