Bob Harris, Nick Barraclough or Mark Lamarr from BBC Radio 2 usually do some 'specials' from this Festival. I hope Bob Lind will be included in the recordings. I'll keep both ears out!

Google Eye....

Although we've never spoken before, I remember the rain, but I can't walk the roads of anger anymore and since there were circles and some were spilling over it was no surprise that you should have seen it and that Cheryl's going home with Dale Ann.

On BBC Radio 2's 'Sounds of the Sixties' today, (Nov 24th) Brian Matthew played 'Elusive Butterfly' and mentioned the ACE album and Bob's London concert earlier this year. This is one show I always enjoy, especially the feature called the A to Z of The Beatles, featuring early interviews and archive...

A song that I can currently play any number of times a day is 'Small Room' by Elliott Murphy. EM is an American born singer/songwriter who is very popular in Germany and France and indeed most of Europe. This particular song is about an artist, his female model and her violent boyfriend. I love the ...

I class the 'Butterfly' rhythm as the perfect dreamy summer sound, no matter what the weather is doing outside when I look out of the window!

Speaking of Jimmy Webb, I was lucky enough to win two songwriting contests with Jimmy. He used to have half a song written on his website and you had to finish it! Alas no one has recorded either song yet, but it is something I treasure via the signed photo that Jimmy sent me! Also my wife got our C...

Thanks Grant! Well done Simon! A fine mix of photographs (of feeling!) Thanks for sharing them with us. Any photographic details for those like myself who like to take photos onstage and backstage? I am guessing that a digital camera was used, capable of switching over from colour to B&W. I thin...

'You should have seen it....'

Anyone seen the website 'rightwingtrash?' I came across it when checking on a BBC website looking for news of when Bob would be Radio 2. The fourth item down discusses 'You should have seen it'(1966) Personally, this song reminds me of 'Positively Fourth Street' by Dylan. I can't post the link, but ...
