We do Valentine's Day too, but in Australia Feb 14th is chiefly remembered as the anniversary of the introduction of decimal currency, which was 50 years ago today.
Never heard of Fopp - is it a chain?
I imagine Hawking is "over the moon" after the recent announcement that astronomers have confirmed the existence of gravitational waves.
