After an absence of months (I teach and farm and get too easily distracted), I discovered I missed Bob in Toronto, all of 2 hours away from where I live. How the gods have conspired against me!
Still, I like to read the positive reviews of the music and the man--they tend to confirm my suspicions about Bob, and they'll have to remain suspicions until I finally get to see him (in Detroit? Buffalo? Toronto again?).
But I write to send Bob my best wishes for this time of year--not the artificial greetings he has so beautifully skewered once and for all--but the simple heartfelt greetings from a fan who remains in awe of your talent and grateful you share it with us. All the best to you now and for the coming year.
