Wow, not only do I learn that there are 3 "lost" verses of elusive Butterfly, but now we get the lost verse of Remember the Rain!

With apologies to both Bob and Ernesto...

Remember To Rain

Well, as tropical storms go, Ernesto didn't have much blow,
In fact we looked for clouds and didn't see too many;
And all those rain-filled spiral bands just disappeared beneath the sands,
The weather guys could not believe that it was sunny.

Now that you're just a depression, Don't feel too bad as you head up the coast,
Despite the hype of all the forecasts,
It's beginning to look like you're toast.

So remember to rain, when you reach the Atlantic;
And if you can please try to send just a little bit of wind
To remind us that you blew on by Bob Lind!

AS one pundit put it "The rain event was canceled on account of sun."
We're all cool here.

The storm is pretty much a washout as far as I can tell. It's still overhead. I suspect there'll be some flooding, but nothing like a real hurricane.

Please pray for protection for Bob, Grant, and their families during Ernesto.
