I notice several recent postings by "guests".

I thought this was disabled? The guests in question seem to be quite nice, polite and above-board, but if we continue to allow guest postings don't we run the risk of having the board taken over again by spammers?

It's OK - they're being manually approved by either me or one of the other moderators. There's actually been a lot of spam bots lately, but you hopefully haven't noticed a thing because of the new-member-post-approval setup. That stuff gets deleted behind the scenes en masse.
