A wonderful man and a true NY / Folk icon. First saw Richie on the "Clay Cole Show" on WPIX NYC and later live at the Fillmore East. "I Can't Make it Anymore" ...always one of my favorites.. "lately I don't feel much like talking ...instead of staying home ...I just go out walking....and thinking too much ...and not longing for your touch...baby somethings wrong ...all the feelings gone ...I can't make it anymore."

Absolutely. And, he recorded a great version of his good friend Bob Lind's "How the Nights Can Fly."

Just read that Richie Havens passed away. Sad to hear it. He was truly one of a kind.
