I'm a singer/songwriter who's had  a lot of sweet luck. In 1966, I wrote and recorded the top-5 hit, “Elusive Butterfly.” Since then, a whole slew of quality artists have recorded my songs. So far, there have been more than 200 covers. [Click here for the short list.]  The list keeps getting longer and longer. And that delights me.

I love writing, but nothing beats playing live, which I’m doing more of every year. [See the TOURS page to find out where I'll be playing when].

Recently, I released a limited-edition in-person CD called BOB LIND LIVE AT THE LUNA STAR CAFÉ. You can read reviews over here. [See the Merchandise Page for ordering information.] 

RPM/Cherry Red Records has re-issued my 1971 album, SINCE THERE WERE CIRCLES on CD. [It's for sale on Amazon here, at the RPM/Cherry Red Records site here and on other online market sites.]

And ACE Records has just released a CD containing my first two World Pacific albums -- which include "Elusive Butterfly," "Cheryl's Goin' Home" and "Truly Julie's Blues." The disc is called BOB LIND: ELUSIVE BUTTERFLY (The Complete Jack Nitzsche Sessions). It too is available at the usual places.

Noted documentary producers Paul Surratt and Ian Marshall are busy shooting a documentary about my life and work. It should be out in late 2008 or early 2009.

Since this site went up in 2004, the message board has been my favorite section, allowing me to connect with people from all over the world. Incredibly touching. Please don't leave without signing in and saying hello. It may take a couple of weeks, but I'll do my level best to respond to you eventually.
